While visiting the USS Kidd museum in Baton Rouge, LA I was pleasantly surprised to find out that
what my old former shipmates were telling me was true. Indeed I could not tell the difference
between the USS Kidd and our ship the USS John Rodgers DD574. The entire layout was the
same. View the following pictures and enjoy reminiscing or better yet, if you have opportunity, go to
Baton Rouge and tour the ship. It will be worth the trip.
